Il ressemble \u00e0 une minuscule poudre cramoisie. Il a une action antioxydante importante et est largement utilis\u00e9 dans les industries alimentaires, de sant\u00e9, cosm\u00e9tiques et autres, bien qu&rsquo;il ne poss\u00e8de pas l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 physiologique de la vitamine A.<\/p>\n<p>En Chine, les processus de pr\u00e9paration du lycop\u00e8ne de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire comprennent principalement les suivants : extraction par solvant, extraction par fluide supercritique, hydrolyse enzymatique et extraction \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau chaude. Le lycop\u00e8ne est extrait \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de la m\u00e9thode d&rsquo;extraction par solvant utilisant des solvants organiques (\u00e9thanol, n-hexane, etc.). En raison de son faible co\u00fbt et de sa maturit\u00e9, la technique est fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;industrie.
